OraVerse: Numbing Reversal After Dental Work

June 1, 2016

Speeding Up The Numbing Reversal Process

How many times have you dreaded having to return to your daily routine after a visit to the dentist, because your mouth was still numb? For some people half of their day is a struggle as the numbing agent keeps their mouth and lips numb for many hours after their procedure has been completed. That’s what you get from a typical dentist, but we’re not your typical Oklahoma City dentist office! What if we told you that we have the trick to have you feeling normal much quicker? It’s true, we do!

When you come in to have intensive work done on your teeth, of course you want to be numb. Don’t worry, we still use the numbing injection or anesthetics to ease your pain. It’s after the dental work is completed that makes life interesting. We know that while your mouth is numb it can be difficult to drink, eat, smile, and talk. For those that have to return to work after visiting the dentist, this isn’t an ideal situation. Our patients are in luck, however; because our Oklahoma City dentist uses OraVerse.

This product isn’t really new to the dental world, but the truth is that a lot of dentists just don’t use it. OraVerse is an injection that is used to begin speeding up the numbing reversal process. What this means is that instead of waiting 2 or more hours for numbness to wear off after your dental work, you only have to wait 30 minutes to an hour. Yes, now you can get back to your real life a lot sooner without feeling like you’re going to drool on yourself. You’re welcome.

Are you in need of an Oklahoma City dentist? We’d be happy to check you in! You can call our Oklahoma City dentist office @ 405-751-5515, or contact us online, right here.
