Under most of these plans, the insurance company will pay 100% of the\ncost for two dental checkups and cleanings a year, and you won\u2019t even need to\nmeet a deductible before receiving this benefit. If you have this sort of\ncoverage, then there\u2019s no reason not to get the preventive care you need to\nstop tooth decay and gum disease from causing major problems in your mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, every insurance carrier is different, so you\nshould take the time to review your plan and confirm the coverage you\u2019re entitled\nto. For one annual payment (which varies depending on whether you\u2019re paying\nfor one person, two people or multiple dependents), you\u2019ll receive a 100% discount\non your biannual exams and cleanings \u2013 exactly what you\u2019d get with normal\ndental insurance! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our discount program also covers a certain number of X-rays\neach year as well as periodontal maintenance (treatments to keep the gums\nhealthy). We\u2019ll also give you a 50% discount for dental sealants, which can be\nextremely helpful for protecting your little one\u2019s back teeth from cavities.\nOther procedures are also available at a reduced price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Excellent oral health is extremely important for living a\nlong, full life; some studies have found that gum disease and other oral health\nissues have been connected to heart disease and stroke.
