Your dentist will meticulously scan your mouth for abnormalities and even use a dental x-ray to view the inner and outer structures. Just because you brush your teeth, doesn\u2019t mean that you removed all of the plaque that lingers around your mouth.<\/p>\n Your dentist can remove plaque and hardened tartar from between teeth and below the gum line. Sometimes, if you have the beginning of gum disease (gingivitis) your dentist will recommend more cleanings\u2014services that may be included in your dental insurance benefits!<\/p>\n When your exam and cleaning is complete, your dentist will be ready to speak with you about your appointment.
